Meet Omari Kimweri – The Lion Man 

We are thrilled to introduce you to a remarkable addition to our team at RIMEX Mount Isa – Omari Kimweri, affectionately known as the Lion Man.  A Tanzanian-Australian professional boxer, Omari brings a wealth of experience and passion to our organisation. 

Nickname: Lion Man Omari’s fight name, Lion Man, reflects his incredible strength and determination both inside and outside the boxing ring. 

Previous Endeavours: Professional Boxer/Boxing Trainer Before joining RIMEX, Omari dedicated himself to the world of boxing. As a professional boxer and boxing trainer, he has honed his skills and shared his expertise with aspiring fighters.

Job Title: Tyre Specialist Omari’s role at RIMEX is best described as a Tyre Specialist. His extensive knowledge of tyres and their applications makes him an invaluable asset to our team. 

Enjoyment in Work: The People What Omari enjoys most about his work is the opportunity to collaborate with others. The camaraderie and teamwork foster a positive and fulfilling work environment for him. 

Hobbies Outside of Work: Boxing and Family Time When he’s not at work, Omari dedicates his time to training disadvantaged kids in boxing. His commitment to empowering others through sports is inspiring. Additionally, he cherishes precious moments spent with his family. 

Surprising Fact: Former World Flyweight Boxing Champion A surprising fact about Omari is that he is a former world flyweight boxing champion. His talent and dedication led him to represent Tanzania in the 2006 Commonwealth Games, showcasing his remarkable skills on an international stage.
