About the Role:

Joining our Mackay Branch, we are offering a full-time position for a motivated and proficient Trades Assistant with additional responsibilities as a Truck Driver. As part of our dynamic workshop team, this role emphasises the safe operation of a forklift and prioritises maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent health and fitness, strong communication skills, and a professional appearance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a forklift within the workshop environment.

We are seeking a highly motivated and autonomous thinking Technician to join our TyreSense team located in Perth. As a TyreSense Technician you will provide technical support to our system, working closely with multiple key stakeholders within our client’s complex business network.

This is a highly rewarding and dynamic role for the right candidate as you will be required to provide technical support for both hardware and software platforms, training and upskilling of key end user groups, both externally and internally, and developing solutions-based outcomes for existing and new business requirements.

Supported by our development and engineering team in Canada, and reporting to the TyreSense Lead Technician, you will be part of a dedicated team providing best in class technical support to an industry leading and safety critical system.

Key Responsibilities

Based at our Western Australian Head Office in Perth your role will include:

  • Regular travel throughout Western Australia to mining operations and corporate offices where required to support and promote the TyreSense product in the field.
  • Conduct system audits, health checks and provide recommendations on hardware and system replacements to ensure optimum reliability of TyreSense.
  • Ensure client satisfaction is achieved through delivering product expectations.
  • Perform product installations, on new and used equipment at OEM facilities and client mining operations, ensuring TyreSense standards are maintained.
  • Manage existing clients providing training and upskilling to key end users while assisting RIMEX sales staff with new enquiries with technical queries and application scoping.

About You

To be successfully considered for this role you will have:

  • A background in Auto Electrical, Electronics, or communications.
  • A Mechanical aptitude would be highly regarded as you will be required to understand complex machine layouts.
  • Prior experience with power and hand tools is essential.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to utilise various software systems.
  • Capable to safely handle equipment and communicate well with internal departments and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow risk assessment and hazard identification processes.
  • Meet a physical standard to undertake system installations and inspections on large earthmoving equipment, in Perth and on remote mining operations.

TyreSense National Development Manager |Perth, WA

RIMEX Wheel Pty Ltd is looking for a TyreSense National Development Manager to join the team. 

We have a full-time position available for immediate start. The role involves developing and promoting the TyreSense TPMS system and its application capabilities, providing product and technical support to TyreSense clients across Australia. 

As a National Development Manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders within RIMEX and our business network to ensure effective development and promotion of data dashboards and advanced reporting for TyreSense. Your focus will be on creating meaningful, focused, and easy-to-understand solutions. 

You will work closely with State Managers and local TyreSense teams to provide solutions-based support to clients, enhance their technical understanding of TyreSense platforms, and integrate Asset Management (AMS) for a comprehensive Tyre Bay Management Solution. 

Your responsibilities include supporting Australian TyreSense teams in managing client expectations, exploring new opportunities within existing clients, and identifying potential new market opportunities. Collaboration with TyreSense teams in Canada will involve developing analytical dashboards for both TPMS and AMS software platforms and providing training to key end-user groups. 

In this role, you will liaise with OE partners, dealer subsidiaries, external clients, third-party contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure that the TyreSense product meets its intended purpose and functions effectively. Reporting to the WA Manager, you will be supported by the development team in Canada and work closely with State Managers and technician teams to deliver top-notch technical support. 

Key Responsibilities & Duties 

  • Provide guidance, support, and awareness of TyreSense and RIMEX products to clients’ key stakeholders to maintain industry leadership in product quality and support. 
  • Support clients with accurate data analytical inquiries, leading a new team, managing workload prioritisation, scheduling for TyreSense Support Technicians, and third-party contractors. 
  • Develop key relationships within each client’s organisation at site and head office levels. 
  • Assist with the development and growth of the Asset Management software through customer feedback. 
  • Develop a support function for data input to the Asset Management software. 
  • Coordinate comprehensive training programs for TyreSense Technicians. 
  • Perform routine checks on deployed new products and provide technical reporting on product performance. 
  • Work on standardising custom dashboards for operational reporting and provide technical reporting to enhance TyreSense products. 
  • Scope new market opportunities for future product releases, provide competitive information on related products, manage client opportunities for product support and training, review and report on monthly sales, manage client expectations. 

Work Hours 

5 days on, 2 days off, 40 hours per week or as required to complete the work schedule.
