5th Annual RIMEX Charity Golf Day 2022
Friday October 7th marked our Fifth Annual Charity Golf Day benefitting the Leukaemia Foundation.
This is a cause dear to our hearts as our company founder Chris Weston, passed away in August 2017 after a lengthy battle with Leukaemia. Since then, we’ve run this special event each year to support leukaemia and lymphoma research and treatment in memory of Chris.
As avid golf lovers, we invited our colleagues, clients and local teams and businesses to participate in a golf day at Mackay Golf Club to raise funds for this special cause.
This year we had a sold-out event and raised a whopping $30,000 for the Leukaemia Foundation’s research.
The first image in the photo gallery below shows our Mackay Branch Manager Trevor Robertson passing on a $30,000 cheque to Dr Richard Malone, Leukaemia Foundation Mackay Branch Coordinator.
This would not be possible without the support of our sponsors and players who joined in the day whole heartedly and gave so generously, thank you for making this possible.
We look forward to an even bigger golf day next year and hope to bring this to more communities where we are based across Australia.
