Emma and Janelle started their trip in Auckland visiting with a couple of customers, from here then they flew to Wellington where they had a good look around ‘Te Papa’ and the Anzac exhibition on New Zealand’s Public Holiday ‘Waitangi Day’ which was very inspiring and showed just how good a team we make with the Kiwis!
They then flew to Nelson and meet with more customers there before a long drive over to Stockton Mine for a look around (One of the most picturesque Mines they have ever seen although not the best weather the day we were there). They then met with more customers in Greymouth and had a look at some of the mining memorials along the Grey River, before trekking across the South Island to Christchurch via Arthurs Pass where they met a cheeky Kea, to meet with more customers about the wheels and rim supply in NZ. The following morning seen them travelling even further down state highway 1 towards Dunedin before they turned off at Palmerston and had another Meeting with Oceana Gold down at Macraes Flat.
A whirlwind trip meeting a variety of customers from Mine Sites to Engineering Companies to On-sellers, with some great contacts made.
